About AccountingMaps

AccountingMaps turns global accounting developments — regulation, standards, oversight and market news — into interactive world maps you can explore country by country.

Accounting news is scattered across regulators, standard-setters, professional bodies and the press. AccountingMaps gathers it into a single spatial view, so instead of reading list after list you can see where activity is happening at a glance.

How it works

Each map is built from a dataset. Every item is placed on its country, and countries with more activity rise higher on the map — the taller the marker tower, the more stories sit behind it. Filter by category, search for a country or headline, and open any marker to read the underlying items and their sources.

What you'll find

The Accounting News map covers regulatory and profession updates, scandals and risk, market and business moves, innovation, and community events. More maps — sustainability frameworks, oversight bodies and beyond — are on the way.

AI assistance and sources

AI assists in creating our maps by helping research public sources, organise datasets, classify information and draft summaries. AI can make mistakes, and source information may be incomplete or outdated.
Some maps contain reported facts; others include estimates or interpretations. Consult the methodology and source links to understand the basis of each entry, particularly before relying on it for a professional or business decision.
